Boxset Tracks

Do you think any of the songs from the boxset will make regular appearences on the next tour?

I think they will play stuff like Why Aren't You Dead and The Radio Saved My Life Tonight quite often, and perhaps Open All Night and Garageland sometimes too.

Hopefully some will turn up, what do you think/hope they play?

1To be perfectly honest I don't think any of them will wind up on the tour.
If for some reason I'm wrong (and hopefully I am) I think they wouldn't give more than 2 tracks from it and Radio would be one.

I don't think they will play a lot boxset songs, but maybe 1 or 2, and I guess it will be radio saved my life

It would be a shame for them to not pull from their vast catalogue of material. I'd love to hear You Can Sleep While I Dream, Satellite, and so many others. You'd think they'd get bored playing the same 23 songs over and over. We get bored of them and don't even go to every show.

That's what I don't understand anyway, with such a vast collection of songs; even prior to the release of the boxset, why they insist on playing the same songs. I mean, if that was me I would want some variation in my setlists and after 20 years you know that you have a big fanbase and that the amount of new fans is smaller than the established fans that come to the concert, spice it up a little. After seeing Springsteen I realised that BJ are not doing that, they just rehash the same old stuff and that is a shame, especially with the amount of great songs that they have.

IMO they play songs that Jon can sing in a decent key without burns himself out...that's why they started play a song like "Raise your hands" or "Wild is the wind" three years ago (easy to sing) and they play songs like "These days", "Something to believe in" "Always" not very often.
Plus there are songs they can't take away by the set...I think LOAP, BM, YGLABN will always be in the set list.
I'm afraid also I'll sleep when I'm dead.
One thing is sure...more fantasy would be appreciated by every fan.

With each new album too it means new songs to be played at shows though. With the next tour there'll be a full new album plus the boxset tracks that they can add to the set, so hopefully songs like I'll Sleep When I'm Dead, Shout, Wild In The Streets etc will not be played as often.

If you look at the standard setlist for the Bounce tour they tended to play Undivided, Everyday, Misunderstood, Bounce and Hook Me Up at most shows and also The Distance at some too. I think of Bounce they will continue to play Everyday and shows and possibly Undivided.

If they play half of the new songs every night it means they either play longer shows or they cut out other tracks.

I think there are some tracks which will pretty much always be played at show, such as Livin' On A Prayer, Wanted Dead Or Alive, You Give Love Bad Name, It's My Life and Keep The Faith, and now possibly Everyday or Undivided will be added to those.

Even for the box set webcast they still did Sleep and Shout  I'd really like NOT to hear those again.

Like someone said they won't play anything that Jon can't sing. The only reason they've played Radio now is because it promotes the box set. And even then Jon's singing it an octave lower.

Why would they want to play songs that weren't good enough to be on an album when they've got 4 albums worth of great stuff they never play?
