As for Sex and the City....there is a reason it won as many Emmy Awards as it did. The only way to really know what it's about is to watch it...and more than one episode...in chronological order. It's really about 4 friends...everything else you have ever heard about it..such as the Fashions and Shoes..they are just quietly blending in. There are only a few "total girlie" episodes. For the most part it's completely enjoyable by anyone with appreciation for a well written and acted series.
