How not tp be a student
 

It's exactly midnight, I've just finished a shift and I've got 1500 words on how reliable the mass media is (of which I have typed 25) due in tomorrow morning.

To aid me in my battle I have:

2 cans of red bull (i owe my life to this stuff)
a bag of chilli heatwave dorito's
a can of miller
and a whole lot of stress to force me to do it.

Feel free to shout words of encouragement.

I shall respond when I'm done (which i'm reckoning will be close to 4 o clock)

guess what matey- im in the same boat,,, xept my essay is 3000 words of a close exegetical reading of an entire 6 verses of the bible.....

I've found that the only work I leave until last minute is the work that I don't like.

All of my courseworks this semester have been finished early, in part thanks to 2 of them being group efforts so I had other motivating people there, except 1, which I did last week in just 3 days. I found it easy at least and only had to do it as it was compulsory; personal development and i.t, so you can probably imagine how boring it is (at least it isn't on next semester)

Obviously you guys don't enjoy that work or you'd have done it already.

nah, i just work better under pressure... true that exegesis is one of the most BORING THINGS EVER CREATED... but hey...

nah I'm going with the sociology is absolute bollocks so I can't be bothered choice.

Everything else this year has been done early but I've just no time for sociology at all on account of it being absolute bollocks.

296 words. half of which are references 8) I made a point of havign all my quotes as big as possible so its going to be paragraphs of guys talking and a coupla sentences from me.

We're always told not to use quotes more than a sentence or two, and only if they're relevant, not just throwing them in for the sake of it.

None of the work I've done so far this year has needed a bibliography or anything, mostly short reports and such.

Apparently my final year project has to be 18,000 words or something :shock:

i done a thing in college once and it turned out to be about 40,000 words but in all fairness it was just really reporting a series of events n stuff so i didnt need to be getting quotes or nante'

my mum thinks im a loser. how come they only ever ask what you're upto when you're doing something late or half assed as opposed to when you're battering into stuff weeks ahead of the deadline? :evil:

ive done 200... since i started it last night

i dfid like die yesterday night though... but i can get away with 2700 words. hoping that lots of quotes will help too -(and yeah theyre all relevent)

still at least this isnt translation :S
