Where and When did Jon and Richie performe IMAGINE???
they're introduced,and Jon refers to the other performers that night so it sounds some kind of concert or evening.
I've searched the web, but no luck...

does anyone know?

No, they weren't being inducted. This was for the opening of the HoF Museum in Cleveland. They won't be eligible for induction until 2009 (25 years after the release of the first CD).

could you please explain- - 25 years from release of the first album they're eligable for what?

Then they can be inducted. A band or singer has to be around for 25 years or longer to have an entry in the Hall of Fame.

Keep in mind that even though they'll become eligible for induction into the Hall of Fame in 2009, it doesn't mean they'll be considered that year... or any year. They might never get in.
