Harm? So you don't think it is a bad thing that people hate their bodies so much that they want to change them simply for the way they look? That they do this because society makes them think that looking a certain way will make them somehow better? With kids that causes more peer pressure, they change the way they look just to be accepted. One extreme thing that springs to mind is anorexia.

Obviously everyone has their own opinion on this, personally I just can't understand why someone would want to change themself like that.

No, actually I was spending a few days with a friend who is also a Bon Jovi & Keith fan. We were having fun. I'm happy for him. It's not like I think he would meet me and think, "You're the person I've been waiting for all my life!" LOL

Anorexia is a disease of the mind. Wanting to look good i think is something natural. As Humans we have always wanted to look good and its just a progression on from make up and fashion.
I personnaly wouldnt want to change myself but then i cant see the harm others doing it .

But who is to say what looks 'good'? That is the problem. Real beauty is natural, it isn't silicone enhanced and botox injected, that looks fake and un-natural, as I said when you first asked about Pammy I think she is one of the people you can look at and wonder why people have cosmetic surgery.

Now I know she is older so that is a factor, but...

Before she was just naturally quite beautiful, but now :rolleyes: I'm not suggesting that the Hollywood image people strive for is the definition of beautiful, Pammy fit that before she had anything done, but everyone is beautiful in their own way. That sounds cheesy I know but it is true, people have just gotten used to believing that the only beautiful people are all there on our tv screens when they are simply shiny, plastic people.

I totaly agree with you on Pammy. I think since shes had the Botox in her face she now looks awful!! and i'm seriously going off her for doing it .Having said that though that first picture Neil , she isnt all Natural .Shes had surgury before then .
As for who says we have to look a certain way , well yes film stars do have an influence on some people but not all. Not all have cosmetic surgury to emulate a certain look. People do have work done just to help improve their look just based on how they want to feel. So i still say theres no harm in it if someone really wants to do it :)
