God this is ridiculous...A friend of mine roped me into a karaoke contest here and I will be doing Runaway and Bed of Roses. 1st prize is a 7 night hotel suite wherever I want, whenever I want 2nd is 3 nights. I got fourth place last time because I didn't have a costume. I lost to this skanky chick who had a good voice and who wore reeeally tight pants and almost nothing on top,...., so I was thinking, 'how can I compete with that? So, what would you guys do for a costume for bon jovi that would get a crowd into it and laughing (pride is no issue here...I sold it for the ten bucks my friend gave me to compete). It can't be expensive. I have some flashy black Diesel pants that a friend gave me that sit on my shelf and get no use (where oh where to wear a pair of shiny black pants...) that may be appropriate, but I am thinking eighties style would be a better route and get a better response.

So, any ideas about any of this at all? What are some stupid things I could do onstage besides be spazmatic that would get the crowd moving and shouting? I would sing prayer, but I just can't sing that damn high for that long, I would pass out...although that would make a good finish.

Hehehe, actually, I already have the long hair ;) And I was thinking about the cowboy hat, but I figured that would go better with wanted or blaze of glory than runaway. I am thinking I am going to go to goodwill now and find some ball-busting tight jeans and cut them up some...I just gotta figure out a shirt now hehe....

And with regards to me wearing the skanky chick outfit, somehow I don't think my breasts will have the same affect as hers...call it a hunch heh heh

And there's no way I am getting into a golden suit. Some giant guy actually came in full Elvis costume last time....it was hideous. Those are nightmares I will never forget.
