According to a little thing I picked up in HMV today, Chinese Democracy will be released on April 25th 2005. I also hear that Appetite may be being re-recorded

Appetite re-recorded has already been done a long time ago before the new GNR went on tour in 2002. I've heard their studio version from Sweet Child O' Mine, Axls vocals sound, well, different, and the guitar solo sucks. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |
I believe when I see it. Although the bass player, Tommy Stinson (sic?) had said that itīll be out this year and that they might come to Europe this summer.
|
All we can do is hope, but I am not counting on anything at this point.
|
Is it with orginal line up?

Its with Axl, and God knows who else by this point |

Well...I should make some bets again. As the last release day was announced I won 8 Iron maiden Cds....haha.
I don't believe it will come out. I don't even hope it will come out anymore. Axl is a wreck. He hasn't got any money and Buckethead ,who I consider a genius, left... So...Good luck! |

Do me a favour and buy COLMA which is my fave Buckethead album. He could give even Mark Knopfler feeling lessons... |
I'm not bothered at all if it ever gets released to be honest. And IF it does, I'd still be in no rush to buy it. All I could say is after a 10 year delay, it better be good. :?

As much as I love the music that the original line up released 15 or so years ago, Im not really sold on this being a "Guns 'n Roses" album. I'll probably buy it out of curiosity but I can't really say Im anticipating it all that much.
With only Axl being the only remaining member of the original line up, this album is really just him expressing himself and using the GNR name to make money. I'm sure if he changed the band name then not as many people would care, but because it's "GNR", then people believe its going to be something special and buy it almost believing its the same band. Without the same guys writing these songs, then how can it possibly sound the same as the earlier material. It's no different than Jon releasing his solo work under the "Bon Jovi" name. As much as I like Jon's solo work, it is the band (particuarly Richie) who contributes with the songwriting and together they created the songs that this band is famous for... Jon is a member of the band but he is not "the" band... I'm sure Axl will be able to come up with some decent, possibly even great songs, I just think a gimmick that he is using the name of a band that died years ago to get people to buy it. |

I am not seing that much change between 2002 and 2003 for Axel rose .; he doesn't have that much plastic surgery done in my opionion .. but he does not look that great ... he would say he didn't get older well ... and he looks fake thouygh i don 't see so much plastis surgery .. maybe something in the eyes .. his eyes look dead and his skin is awfully pale ....

All the stuff he had done took longer than merely a year --- compare it to the real Axl from 88 or so. http://www.awfulplasticsurgery.com/archives/000252.html |
ok I understand then why i didn't see anything it was DURING THE SURGERY PROCESS.. or maybe is it just the alcohool and rug process through the years than destrayed him that much ... he is kinda ugly and he wasn't at all in 1988
|
To be honest, it looks to me like he just had botox. I don't see that much of a difference. :? Plus, you would have to compare it to quite a few pictures rather than just one or two.
