BonJovi and Creed
 

Have you ever noticed the similarity beyween Bonjovi's "the Distance" and Creeds "My Sacrifice"? I brought the Best of Creed the other day and listerned to it for the first time and couldnt help notice that the two songs were so similar although different words and i just wondered if anyone else had noticed it aswell

a few people have mentioned Creed when talking about The Distance.

In simple terms, they sound similiar due to the guitar tunings (drop d?), and the chords are quite similar as is the typical creed-ish style of soft strumming of the chords before hitting the disortion peddal for the big anthemic chorus etc


this is where i get my bit in about meeting Mark tremonti and co (minus Scott Stapp of course) the other month after their Alter bridge gig. what? nobody cares. awk well

and i think the distance sounds more like 'higher' really..

brought = bringing something - like bring beer to the party


bought = buying something - like putting out cash
