I was just wondering, when WANTED was realesed on single, did they use that cowboy picture on the cover??

I saw on VH-1's greatest albums that they were gonna use a similar picture for the cover of the Slippery When Wet album. At first they were gonna used the pic thats in the CD booklet of that hot girl with the ripped top, but apparently they'd mounted on a pink background so Jon kicked off. So they all grew stubble and went up a hill or something to shoot the Wanted pic which was gonna be the cover for the album, but then they didn't like that idea, so Jon ended up spraying a black bin bag and writing "Slippery When Wet" on it and told the photographer to shoot it. I thought it's a strange story. So much trouble over one cover. Glad the cowboy one was used for the Wanted single though.

The picture that was supposed to be the cover for Slippery was not this one. It was the one that was later on used for the Borderline single:

Not according to Jon on that classic albums show. It was the cover that's the Wanted Single. He really hated that pink border eh?

That's also the show where Pink and the guy from Hoobastank sing Wanted and talk about driving around as kids singing that song. I decided right then that I loved Pink.

SuperSonic didn't mean the busty woman SWW cover but the initial WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE album cover. It's the one they later used for teh Borderline single.

Well...SWW was initially called WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE. They shot the picture you can see in SuperSonic's last post as they decided to change the title => also the artwork. Get it?

That's funny, cause that show was the first time I saw or heard of Pink and decided right there and then that I shall hate her forever. I swear. :D
