IMLswing version on new Paul Anka CD
Paul Anka, the famous swing singer and songwriter who for example wrote the lyrics to Sinatra's "My way" publishes a new album on that he sings swing versions of rock classics like Jump or Eye of the tiger. Beside these two songs he also put a swing version of It's my life on the CD.
A pal of mine heard it today on the radio and she said it would be phantastic. You should be able to hear snippets of it on Amazon. |
Couldn't find it....

Thanks for the info Chris ....
well ...... I am thinking Jon and the guys are happy about this kind of recognition .... from what i heard the snippet is way too short .. it's kinda weird ... |
Sounds interesting.

That's cool! I love swing music. One of our stations used to play it and then went to a metal format. I bet I'm the only one still listening to the same station. LOL

Now this sounds like something BJ should have included on This Left Feels Right.. this version is very interesting unlike the very predictable ballad version.
Smells Like Teen Sprit sounds pretty fun too.. :D Teemu |
along with
Smells Like Teen Spirit and Black Hole Sun? What on earth? And I thought Johnny Cash's cover of Soundgarden's "Rusty Cage" was weird. Wonderwall and It's My Life might be fairly good actually. |
Well, it's different.
