Not that any of us need to issue explanations to you, but The Alien Invasion thread was locked for namecalling. And I will copy what was posted in the other 'Why' thread.

Sometimes, points of view are not up for discusion. We must maintain, edit and delete user’s posts/comments to ensure they contain no offensive language and retain cultural sensitivity whilst keeping a high degree of free speech. When threads get way out of hand, we have no option but to either lock them or move them away from the public forum altogether.


A few other little pointers:-

- When a thread is locked. It is locked.
- When a thread is trashed. It is trashed.
- It is not for arguments sake.
- If other 'Why' threads get created. They will also be either locked or trashed.
- Moderators do not NEED to give explanations.
- Moderators decision(s) are final.

In addition. You can make as many of these threads as you like. W have told you why the Alien Invasion thread was locked. Its no big deal. Ignore it. Move on. :D
