Have you got the full blown one with vinyl and everything? If so I'm very jealous :)

I've just pre-ordered Alter Bridge - ABIII which is going to be released at the 8th of October.

Brandon Flowers- Flamingo.

Not particularily impressed, a few decent tracks but no better than a collection of Killers B-sides really. A bit like Sawdust.

Arctic Monkeys - Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not

Probably their best.

Haven't got it yet as it's being released on 29th Sep but have ordered the full blown yes!
The funny thing I realised the other day is that the fanclub package that is included in the deluxe box is something I do have somewhere in my Bowie collection! as I became a member of the fan club in 1976. :-)

Oh I'm so jealous! I saw that the fan club package in that collection as well thats what made me so envious. I've been a fan since about '76 as well i guess, but was too young to know about the fan club. Prefer his earlier stuff for sure. After Blue Gene i sort of went off his later music.

76 was the very first time I saw Bowie live and in the tour "book" (newspaper more like it) there were info about the fanclub and how to join so I did.
Yeah his music went up and down during the mid 80-ies but I love Outside, Heathen and Reality. I also met him in 2002 at a signing here in Gothenburg. :-)

No Outside is the album he released back in 95. It might be Jump They Say that you're thinking of? Hello Spaceboy was one of the singles from Outside.

He was cool and friendly and I made him laugh, which is very good in my book. We were very nervous standing in line waiting for our turn, feeling like 14 again! haha but I had promised myself to talk to him as much as I possibly could and I did, so much so that his bodyguard forgot to keep handing him the booklets he was signing and just stood there listening to what I had to say. A lifetime experience that I treasure and the following super shows we got 2003/2004 was just the icing on the cake.

Yeah thats the one I'm thinking of. I'll check out Outside though on youtube.
You are so lucky, would love to have met him like that and it's good to know he's that friendly. Its a shame hes not going to tour anymore.
