David Gilmour Live in Gdansk.

Awesome stuff.

What really sets this one apart from Earls Court? Mind you... I haven't given Earls Court as much attention, even though I own it on DVD and Blu Ray. On An Island wasn't quite for me, though I appreciate the sentiment.

I need to check this thread more often.....

The show at Staples in September really did deliver. I'm glad I took a chance on them. It was the first time in my life I've been to a concert in the U.S.A. and saw a sizeable amount of the GA pit throbbing up and down in time with the music. Time Is Running Out was exhilirating as well as the whole show really. They have a flow down.

I have to admit... It's cool you were at HAARP, but watching that DVD did not hype me for them. I don't know what it is, but something about the flow of the show didn't work for me where shows like the more recent Seaside Rendezvous, Rock Am Ring, and Glastonbury sold me on wanting to see them. I think the piano sections dragged for way too long from what I remember. My friend/roommate also had the exact same reaction. It is very possible the color filter and effects were just too irritating to me.

Yes, I'm on the late show.

Anyway, I saw this through On Demand on Directv. I always loved Pornograffitti to death. I was surprised at how good they were. I did not know it was out as a CD as well, so good to know. The vibe of being in their hometown propels it.
