Well, I doubt it will ever be one of my favourite albums, but it is fairly reasonable. The thing is, for the most part, it's not really reinterpreting the songs, as, for example, TLFR does (to a certain extent), just taking the lyrics and basic melody and composing a swing song using them really. Jump is alright, cos they keep the keyboard "riff", except it's played on brass. It's My Life I think works quite well, mainly because of the reference to Frank Sinatra and My Way, which Anka wrote |
