Pixie Lott - Turn It Up
My mam bought me the album to cheer me up as I was depressed about missing out on seeing Cheryl Cole at my school as I was ill. To be fair, I love Pixie as she is unbeleivably beautiful, but the girl has made a fun pop album which is now a guilty pleasure, so you can all shut up. :) |
My better half has the album on all the time in her car.
It does have some catchy tunes, but it is also probably the most blatent use of auto-tune (for cover-ups, not effects a la Kanye West) that i've ever heard. Truely shocking, if you're gonna use auto-tune to hide the fact that you can't actually sing, try not to make it so bloody obvious!! I remember flicking through the channels over the summer and catching her 'performance' at V Festival. My God, she was dreadful. But yes, quite gorgeous. |
