Brand New - The Devil And God Are Raging Inside Me.

Pretty much a masterpiece. Limousine, Handcuffs, You Wont Know and Jesus Christ are some of the best songs i heard in a long time

KeepTheFaith2211 04-15-2010 05:59 PM

Rubber Soul - The Beatles

Ton Bon Jovi 04-15-2010 08:29 PM

This is an amazing album. Every home should have one.

Bryan Adams - Anthology

Wanted 'Summer of 69', then found this. Haven't heard it fully yet. Can anyone recommend a good album by this Rocker?

'Heart on Fire' and 'Reckless' are in my opinion his best albums.
I am quite a fan of the song 'Native Son' from 'Heart on Fire'

I salute you,
TS

Into The Fire, you gimp. I have to agree though, buy Reckless and Into The Fire and you're settled. Everything that came after it is commercial crap.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Live! Live! Live! is a great Bryan Adams live album!

Thunderstrucker 04-16-2010 10:19 PM

True. But a lot of songs then played came from the earlier mentioned 2 studio albums.

I salute you,
TS

Avantasian 04-17-2010 12:15 AM

You should definitely check out his MTV Unplugged album, too. It's excellent!

I like 18 till I die, too.

Bruce Springsteen - The Wild The Innocent and The E-Street Shuffle.....1973 vinyl, my favorite springsteen album...i think.too many to choose, but decided today i need it on vinyl just because it will sound awesome, much like my version of bon jovis NJ :D. Cant wait for it to turn up :)

jungleland 04-17-2010 09:45 AM

Ratt - Infestation. Not as great as expeceted but nonetheless a good album!

Ton Bon Jovi 04-17-2010 09:41 PM

Johnny Cash - Unchained

Goldsausage 04-18-2010 02:24 PM

The Rising - Bruce Springsteen

To finally have Worlds Apart on CD.

This Is The Life - Amy Macdonald

Because of the unfortunate way the alphabet falls, this CD has been placed inbetween Alice Cooper and Billy Idol. It looks rather unusual.

Isort my cds after the last name. SO Amy Macdonald would be in section "M"

Thunderstrucker 04-18-2010 07:04 PM

You like Worlds Apart?
I think that is one of the weakest songs on the album.

I salute you,
TS

But if I did that Bruce would be towards the end :(

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! It has some of Bruce's greatest lyrics plus the actual music and melody is gorgeous.

Crushgen24/88 04-20-2010 05:55 AM

I organize my CD's by first name of the artist, that way it's inline with my Ipod/Itunes.

Anyway:
"The Music of Glee Season 1: Volume 1"- Original Cast Recording
"Live on Lansdowne, Boston MA."- Dropkick Murphys

Ton Bon Jovi 04-20-2010 10:42 AM

The National - High Violet

Crushgen24/88 04-23-2010 10:21 AM

Green Day's "American Idiot"- Original Broadway Cast
"A Positive Rage"- The Hold Steady
"Glee: The Power of Madonna"- Glee Cast

HUMAN TOUCH - BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN
Never had a physical CD of this one. Has 3 or 4 brilliant songs. Don't care for the rest, can't even remember how most of them go.

NEBRASKA - BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN

But it features the late Jeff Porcaro on drums. So at least those are done very well I suppose?

Lady_Luck 04-27-2010 09:13 PM

Erland And The Carnival. The song Trouble In Mind is haunting

Jim Bon Jovi 04-30-2010 09:42 PM

david bowie - live in santa monica 72

aka a shithot bootleg from the stardust tour.

ronson sounds great
the energy is brilliant
there's the odd trainwreck which is quite refreshing from modern stuff where every little mistake is edited out or dubbed over
and the setlist is great.

Plus it allowed me to get rid of the rest of my soon to be useless bahraini dinars which was an added bonus :D

LIVE IN DUBLIN - BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN & THE SESSIONS BAND

Glad to finally own a copy of this. Brilliant, fun-filled album. Will be getting a lot of plays in the summer like last year I imagine :)

Thunderstrucker 05-03-2010 01:11 PM

It sure is a very nice live-compilation.
I do pity it that it ain't the full concert.

Songs I miss on the album are:
- John Henry
- Johnny 99
- You Can Look
- Cadillac Ranch
- Ramrod

Luckily they played those songs in Holland and the bootleg from the concert is amazing. Pity I wasn't there.

If you like the Live in Dublin CD/DVD you might enjoy the Live in New York CD/DVD too Oli if you don't own it already.

I salute you,
TS

Goldsausage 05-03-2010 03:46 PM

I have a downloaded copy of the NY CD, but I've yet to own a copy of it. Love it. The Youngstown/Murder Inc/Badlands/Out In The Street section is just breathtaking.

And that Lost In The Flood. Urgh, just so gorgeous. To have powerful live versions of both Youngstown and Lost In The Flood on one album is one of the greatest decisions Bruce ever made. Two of my favourite ever Bruce songs.

Not yet got the DVD. I nearly did a little while ago, but I'm holding out.

Thunderstrucker 05-03-2010 03:56 PM

It's isn't that expensive anymore but I don't know how much you can spent each month on cd's/dvd's.

I got to know the song Land of Hope and Dreams due the New York DVD and it made me like the song. The version on Live in Barcalone made me love the song.

During those New York concerts being reunited with the E-Street Band they also performed Back in Your Arms. How I wish that song would be on the DVD. I seen poor quality versions on Youtube but it hasn't been officially released.

That's an awesome song as well. It's on 'Tracks', the Springsteen boxset that's really worth saving up for. I got mine from eBay for 20 euro's. Bargain.

I salute you,
TS

I for one can't wait for this release. Some unreleased Stones and one of the best albums ever in remastered quality is like a dream come true for me!

It's not worth replacing the whole collection, but they're cool enough in the packaging/liner notes etc. that it's worth getting your favorite of the band's albums. I plan on picking up the rest of my core 5 (SWW, KTF, and Crush)

Crushgen24/88 05-25-2010 07:08 AM

"Crush: Special Edition"- Bon Jovi
Yeah, again, I really like the collectible value in the packaging. Only other one I'll get is KTF though.

I still can't find these bloody cds anywhere in town. I'll see if I can find them when I'm in Toronto later this week.
