Just picked up Clapton's new one today "Back Home" After the first listen I'm kinda disapointed with it.

Mr Bluesman 08-31-2005 01:25 PM

Bought my second copy of Radiohead's - The Bends the other day. I'm sure I lent it to someone many years ago, I can't find it and had a Radiohead urge. I get them from time to time.

In terms of new CDs, I bought Mezmerize by System of a Down a few weeks back. It's excellent.

darkmusicangel 08-31-2005 05:53 PM

Wel the last 3 I bought are good to my ears!

Def Leppard - Hysteria
Aerosmith - Done With Mirrors
The Guess Who - Greatest Hits

Kathleen 09-07-2005 09:31 PM

Just bought Rockin' the Corps (mostly for the Richie set but there is some other decent stuff on the album). I also bought the new Springsteen DVD of Storytellers - completely re-edited - unlike the 50 minute advertisement that was shown on vh1.

I never rated it the same as the first one to begin with, but I do still like it. It's got a different feel and perhaps that is the direction they are going to in the future. Still absolutely love 'Doesn't Remind Me'.

Going to see them again on the 28th. This time it's a big venue and Seether will be opening.

MAYBE??? You MUST buy that album. Even better than the first album, SG was amazing - still, time doesn't stand still, unfortunately, and new isn't necessarily bad :)
