RIP Mr Vance

I'm really bummed about this. probably more than when John Pell slipped off his mortal coil but I shall raise my glass to Mr Tommy Vance who I'm sure is causing havoc somewhere else just now.

alright my scottish chum,

We just had 46 hours of madness down here in newcastle!!!!! thanks to two scousers we both know!!!

I am too gutted about Mr Vance, he visited a radio station i was working at in 1995 when he had the rock show on VH1, a bit more of an edge to him then John Peel

Mr Vance was 62, I was shocked when I read this , I remember as a teenager listening to his Friday night rock show, it was great, every one listened to it in those days + Radio Caroline.

Very sad news. A great DJ/VJ - did a lot of good work getting rock music on the radio and TV. Cool shades, cool voice - big fan of Richie's 'Stranger in this Town' album. RIP.
