No I don't, and I think that mediums and palm readers and such should be charged just as any other con artist would.

Has anyone seen any of the shows that Derren Brown has donw exposing mediums and seances and such? They are very funny to watch, because the whole time it appears real to anyone who perhaps is even skeptical, but at the end he reveals it to be fake (which anyone with common sense would see anyway).

The seance one was very good, he got a group of rather suggestable students to do everything, leading them to believe they where in touch with the spirit of a girl who had died there years before. At the end of the show as the credits rolled the camera followed Derren outside where he met the person who was supposedly dead.

I DO!!! I can predict my teacher's face when she see's my test tomorrow! :D

Nope. Cause if people can predict what's going to happen in your life, it means your life is already planned, you have no control over it. I don't accept that.

I agree with that though, I do not believe in fate for the same reason. If our lives where planned out then we truly have no choice in what we do. Control is a different matter, we are all under the control, to a certain extent, of big brother, or whatever you want to call it. That aside we do what we want to, not what someone has said we will.

Some people can come up with that idea without watching The Matrix. :roll:

Haven't watched any of the Matrix movies in at least a week, but as soon as I posted that I was reminded of them. I agree that we're all under some form of control, but that's definitely not the same as predistination or fate. Guidance is the loosest term I'd use.
