tonight i had an argument....

And i lost, it wasn't with a person, or animal

No it was with a car...

Crossing a road near my house, quite busy, car went past me one way and splashed a puddle into my eyes, then i got hit by the other car and thrown into the road.

I have broken my right foot and cuts and brusies. start a new job in 2 weeks, thats fine, gonna smile and go through it, still dj'ing every weekend, thats not gonna change.

I'm alive and i'm okay but i feel really really down, cos i can't run for a minimum of 6 weeks. running is my life, i do it everyday and i'm fearful that i will never be able to run at peak performance again. Inside me theres a fat person waiting to get out and this has really knocked me.

Anyone else ever had this, will i be able to go back to the way things were??

I'm gutted because the woman who hit me only started crying when she saw the dent in her car!!!!!! hello!!!!

you and I both know her yugo is more important than your health

Man thats sucks... I'm glad ur alrigh...t but that women must really love her car.... :?

I'm sorry , having a car accident is never a good thing.
And that' the way women are, they only care about their cars and themselves.

Oh my goodness, that is awful. Don't worry though, it will take some time but I am sure you will be back to peak performance before you know it. Besides, it will take longer than six weeks for that fat person to come busting out of you, especially if you were in great shape when this happened. Just worry about getting better.

That sucks. Take care of yourself and get well soon!

Excuse me - I thought it was the guys that only cared about their cars

I'm sorry you were hurt so badly - it will take some time to get back to "normal" running but you are young and should heal - eventually. Not a good time for starting a new job though.

Well you were lucky really, if that car had been going any faster it could have been much worse...glad you're ok though. You've done so well with losing weight in this past year, a few weeks out of action wont make you put all the weight back on :)

I knocked a guy a off his motorbike last year, felt really gutted as he broke his leg in three places, but as he kept telling me he was ok and that was the main thing.

thank u

I been beack to hospital today, was going to go back to work tomorrow but they ruled that out, they have to put new cast on on friday so it won't be till after then at least.

The woman said she was doing 24 miles an hour when she hit me but my mum done 24 mile an hour today in the car, and there is no way a person would have bounced off a car like i did if they were only doing 24 miles and hour, plus, how many people check their speed when they hit someone, its the last place i would check!!!

Doing push ups and sit ups in the house so hopefully, as long as i keep my upper body strength i should be okay, if she stops me from running, i'm gonna take her for everything she has got.

I just been laughing at with my mate cos were going to see U2 and my foot will probably still be healing then, watch some git stamp on it when i'm in the pit!!!!

Carli, what happened with the lad on the motorbike, is he okay now?
