Not saying this is directly linked to the war in iraq but there's definetely a shift towards reform and at least some franchise in the Middle East that wasn't prevailent up till the recent past mostly because of oppression.

I think one by one they're going to end up democratised which is only a good thing IMO.

Hopefully just not at the end of a gun wether it be a revolution, coup or military action.
