(Thursday, March 24, 2005)

Following is the Official PRESS RELEASE generated by MILLER today for distribution. We here at www.bonjovi.com are posting it simultaneously with the announcement by MILLER:

Miller Brewing Company Announces Plans to Celebrate 150th Anniversary - BON JOVI to headline "The Big Brew-Ha" Celebration With Employees, Milwaukee Community at Free Event August 20 at Miller Park

MILWAUKEE (March 24, 2005) – Not many companies, let alone brewers, make it 150 years. Miller Brewing Company is proudly celebrating this milestone anniversary throughout 2005, culminating with "The Big Brew-Ha," on August 20 at Miller Park featuring Bon Jovi.

"We are celebrating our 150th Anniversary with the people that have been most instrumental in our success: our employees, our business partners and our hometown community, Milwaukee," said Miller Senior Vice President, Corporate Affairs, Mike Jones.

"The Big Brew-Ha" will begin with a tailgate party surrounding Miller Park and will continue inside the stadium with great food, great Miller beer and great music from Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide throughout their musical career. More than 30,000 expected attendees will celebrate together to honor Miller's past 150 years and toast its future. The event will be free to all attendees. Additional event details, including additional entertainment, ticket distribution and event timing will be released at a later date.

"Like Miller, Bon Jovi has stood the test of time and we are thrilled that they will be celebrating this milestone with us," said Jones.

In addition to "The Big Brew-Ha" Miller has several additional events and special programs in the works to celebrate its anniversary. As a special extension of its Employee Fund, Miller is creating the "150 Ways We Care" program, to award $150 to the charity of choice of its employees. A new employee-designated charity will be selected daily during the 150 days between March 24 and August 20.

Additionally, Miller’s 150th anniversary celebration includes a $2.5 million gift for a major renovation of the Summerfest Miller Lite Oasis. Other anniversary elements will be announced over the course of the year.

Milwaukee-based Miller Brewing Company is the oldest major brewer in America, celebrating its 150th anniversary in 2005. Miller is a wholly owned subsidiary of SABMiller plc, one of the world's largest brewers. Miller's principal beer brands are Miller Lite, Miller Genuine Draft and Miller High Life. The company imports Pilsner Urquell, Peroni Nastro Azzurro and Foster's and has craft brews Leinenkugel's and Henry Weinhard's. Its portfolio of brands also includes Milwaukee's Best and Sharp's, a non-alcohol brew. Miller produces Icehouse from the Plank Road Brewery, a small division of Miller; Olde English 800; and Mickey's Malt Liquor. More information about Miller Brewing Company is available at the company’s corporate web site, www.MillerBrewing.com.

WELL .. for now it looks like they play for companies that PAY for having Bon Jovi at festival or conventions ... I don't mind that much except that for the Honda show in columbus in 2004 for the miller show in milwaukee in 2005for the corporated shows they did for comcast in phoenix on march 2004 and other footballistic events they have played for companies who HIRED them but for an audience who didn't pay for them but got them as part of a package ... this is what is making me cringe .... is it pleasant for a band to play for a certain amont of ppl who don't really care ....it's almost like being a wedding or dinner band ... i'sd love them to play for their fans for ppl who are having withdrawls to see them live ....(veags is a lil bit differnt .. they have been hired maybe but HRcasino sold tickets so bon jovi FANS bought them ....)

Aloha !

And after about 10 songs Jon will be sweating, turns his jacket off, puts his hair back in shape, walks back to the microphone and will be saying something like; "I need a beer" while smiling that lovely smile.

On topic: It's good to hear that they're doing it for free and are not charging a high entrance fee, though it's not in their hands. It will be the same old sh1t but you won't hear me complain at a free show.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

He means that most likely a lot of fans will show up because there's no entrance fee, so it makes it a lot more interesting for fans to travel for it.
