Wow, I was pretty surprised by this. It still hasn't said what he died of though.

He wasn't that old was he???

No, I don't think so. From what I have been reading, it was either a heart attack or sickle cell anemia. :?

Edit: LOS ANGELES — Defense attorney Johnnie Cochran Jr., who famously defended football star O.J. Simpson, has died at 67 in his home in Los Angeles, a law firm partner confirmed

Cochran died of a brain tumor at his home in Los Angeles, his family said.

wow. that is pretty weird. did it say how long he had the tumor?

I know that once you have brain cancer, you can book your memorial service :(

The flashy yet venerable attorney's health started to falter last year, according to media reports. Following his surgery in April 2004, Cochran began to avoid the limelight after having welcomed it for so many years.

In an interview with the New York Post last September, he said, "I'm feeling pretty good" and described himself as "90 percent" improved. Rather than a tumor, he called his ailment a neurological condition requiring a procedure.

Ouch! That sentence has to be the most depressing I ever read :shock: :? :(

I heard this on ABC radio news last night, was shocked as I thought he was still a lawyer , perhaps he hadnt been that ill for long .

What was the words he is most famous for, if the glove doesnt fit you have to aquit , OJ trial.....
