Looks like I'm getting an Ipod then
my bro just got some sort of catalogue thing from his work and they've got 20gig Ipods for £120 for some reason.
he's none too impressed cause the 6gig one he got his missus last week was £170 but that's his problem not mine. how does the Itunes thing work? do you just find your song, put in your card details n that's you? u2 tickets n cheap Ipods. it's been a good week for massaging my materialistic side. |
You won't regret it Jim - it's THE most enjoyable music gadget that I purchased in a long time. You use iTunes to upload stuff to your iPod from your computer. It's not a drag and drop interface - iTunes is the interface. As far as purchasing music through iTunes - I haven't done it. I think 99 cents a track is a ripoff for mp3s. I'd prefer to buy the entire album - the cost is about the same and you get complete wav files. And it doesn't have the copy protection that itunes comes with. If you have to reformat your computer - you lose your tunes and have to purchase them again. Also if you purchase the album you can rip to mp3 at whatever quality YOU choose and still have the album to listen to on your stereo. Just my 2 cents :D

or you could just get all your songs for free through kazza or limewire and the like then put them on your ipod, just like me 8)
and before any goody-two-shoes jumps on my back i also have an outrageously large CD collection too. andi |
