Sister Hazel on New Year's Eve!! Great way to ring in the New Year!

Velvet Revolver in June, awesome to say the least, crowd was absolutely bunkers. Bar that a band that plays in The Empire in Belfast which are called Alibi, they do all classic rock covers.

The Killers sometime back in December. Sure, they only played about 11 songs but
1) it's quality, not quantity
2) I didn't pay for the tickets
and 3) well, they only have that one album...
The crowd sang/screamed the whole way through. Also covered a David Bowie song. Amazing concert!

This is their second leg in the US!! Pretty amazing if you ask me. They played the Key Arena, capacity 17,000 and it was close to full!!

They are just soooo nice - remembering exactly where they played last time and what an unbelievable hassle it was to get to that venue and to get out of it (due to traffic). They thanked the people that 'went through that hassle to see them back in August' and it came over quite well. Who the hell even remembers where they played and what happened?

We love 'em :D

The concert at Bolton last year was delayed by about half an hour due to poor traffic conditions, hardly anyone had managed to get inside. Maybe it's just part of the package with Coldplay.

you mean they say it at every concert?

(I'd be crushed :( -- we are special dammit!!)

Aerosmith. I am afraid they are now officially dwindeling down. Last time I saw them I found them amazing. Yesterday, they were ok - but not worth the $140 ticket price.

I didn't like the way they had the stage setup - the huge catwalk took away a lot of the sides of the stage, making otherwise good seats really bad seats.

jess 02-16-2006 09:06 PM

$140 ???

Even for them i wouldn't spend so much !!!
Sorry to hear it was not that good.

It was alright, just not warranted the high ticket price. $50 it would be just right.

The ticket was $125 plus $15 of ticketmaster rape charge.

Simple Plan :D

Saw them last night at Manchester Accademy. Really good show...played for about an hour and a half I think...ended with Id Do Anything and Perfect. Awesome! :)

Jim Bon Jovi 02-18-2006 04:56 PM

david ford on thursday night at the barfly.

lots of cool looping going on, lots of different instrumentalists etc... was absolutely brilliant. nice and refreshing to see a singer/ songwriter doing more than just the 4 piece band thing.

did you get to see nerina pallot who was supporting?

if so- what did you think?

aerosmith_bonjovi 02-24-2006 06:27 PM

Yes I've seen Nerina twice now - once as the support act for Bryan Adams and then this last time for Keith Urban. I thought she was pretty good..more so when I saw her in October (at Keith's concert) than a few years ago.
