k so I'm goign to get another tattoo either this week or next. half cause I want a new one for going away in the summer and half cause a mate is prattling on about getting one to look cool but he won't so if I go for one, he has to go :D

btw he wants a new york yankee's tattoo (?!?!?!?!??) so even if my idea is feminine, i won't be gewtting the gheyest tattoo of the day.

but anyways...

I want to get a band going round my left bicep but instead of just a straight band, i want one end to start just below my shoulder, then have it wind round my bicep, across my tricep in a straight line and back round and have the other end finish below it so it would kinda be winding down my arm but I'm thinking this may be a bit womany?....

Well generally in such a situation I'd suggest doing whatever you want to, if you like the design then go for it, but since you are obviously doing it for the benefit of others seeing it then perhaps some women need to comment on how they think it would look.

i do want it for myself but it looking good is kinda beneficial IMO. doing it just to force my mate to get a stupid tattoo is secondary but these things are kinda hard to wash off so I don't want one that looks like it should be on gwen stefani.

If there was a tatoo I wanted I'd get it regardless of what others thought.

the cool thing about tattoo's like that is that people ask you what it means and since they don't mean anythign you can make up cool stories about it's significance and how you decided to get it 8) mines meaning changes everytime.

Well that one is Fatal Lightning, one of the characters in the Tekken games has it on their left arm I think.

draw it on first for a few days and see if u like it. Take a pic and show us the drawing and we will tell u what we think.

Just imagine some type of tribal band thin at both ends and thicker in the middle but instead of wrapping round in a straight line, it would be going down my arm like a helter skelter
