Review from Vegas
 

Well I have no idea what happened to Backstage but I just got back from the concert. First of all Becky, I hope you are sitting down because they did play a new song from the new album called Who Says You Can't Go Home (yes the one Keith Urban sang back-up on) and it was a fun song. They played it during the encore and Jon intro'd it by saying the album is done. This is n ot the single he said but a fun song. It is very Mellencamp with an It's Alright kind of chorus that is great to sing along with- I can very much see Keith fitting in with this song but no folks, no one has gone country-LOL! Anyway, for the rest of the show it was short- only 90 minutes but I did not expect a full set. All the typicals were played as you can see from the posted set list. The other encore song was Twist and Shout. Jon was in a great mood- it was your typical high energy set with Richie doing IBTFY and and as I said all the typical ones including the Sleep/Bad Medicine/Shout set ending. No KTF though this time. It was just so great to sit out on a nice night and enjoy a Jovi show again. Jon looked great in black leather- Richie was stunning as usual (had to get that out of the way, sorry!) and it was a great time. I got there earlier in the day and heard the souncheck- I first heard Who Says You Can't Go Home there and told everyone I could find it was the Keith Urban song from the new album. Had fun meeting many Backstagers and if that board ever comes back I will put my shout outs on there- what a great way to end a business trip with a fun night at the Hard Rock!

Thank you so much for posting your review of the show. I was hoping you would pop over to this site to let us know. Yes, backstagejbj.com went down a couple of hours ago and we're all getting "account suspended" messages....hopefully it'll be fixed soon.

It sounds like the show was great! I'm thrilled they played a new song for you guys. And....excellent news that the new CD is done. YAY!!!!!

ok so the cd is done ... that's good news ....

they played a new song ....that's great news for you guys who heard it ...I don't know what to think .... I would be tempted to think that they might not use the song they played ....I have absolutely no proof but well I imagine this as a b side which can get downloaded without any harm for the album ...I don't see them risking an important song to be bootleged....
too bad Jon didn't say WHEN the album will be out .... but maybe we will get infos about that .... the album is done is a little bit vague .. the album was done back in october 2004 :P

Thanks for that. I came home from a night out alrready to hear about it and it says backstage has been suspended.
