Student protestors suck!!!
I was going to end my classes this week or the next on the normal uni schedule, but something was announced about 4 or 5 weeks ago that they were going to raise the cost of the credits up 10$, plus some charges going to the technology department and labs and about some 20$ charge for the people who clean and take up and out the thrash.
The UPR system are the cheapest universities in puerto rico, and will still be even if they go along with raising the cost of studiyng there. It's been 3 weeks since they have let anyone in the imside the uni and this could lead to the supension of the semester. If we go back to class I think they could end and the end of june at the soonest. What pisses me off is that I have paid for my classes and have done well enough this semester to pass with a decent enough grade, now it all may have been for nothing. I understand that the way the president of the university handled it was a bit unfair, he never consulted anything with the sudent presindent or any of that shit, just one morning got up and announced it. I just want to be able to finish my classes take my exams and get it all over with so I can enjoy the summer peacefully, but as I said it doesn't look likely. |
I hate students who feel the need to act "studenty" ie protest, hate mcdonalds etc..., being "marxist" (whilst usually never even having read the manifesto)
seriously. rant for the day over. |
