Kylie has breast cancer...

In the news today

She has had to cancel her australian tour.

She has been someone most of us if not all of us have liked at some point and even though she is a pop superstar she has always seemed to be down to earth and approachable. None of this diva crap.

get well soon kylie!

I just read the news on reuters.com: click HERE

She has such a beautiful body, but what good does that if you're sick? :( Hope she'll be better soon.

That's really sad, i've always found her to be so beautifull and down to earth.Hope she gets well soon.
If it was discovered early then she'll be ok I guess, the same thing happened to my aunt and she's ok now.

it is so sad. She in only 2 months older than me. I had tickets to see her, but if they cancel the shows (instead of rescheduling) I will donate my ticket money to Breast Cancer Awareness or similar.
Get well soon Kylie.

Thats sad, get well soon. :(
It's been the headlines on all of the news here today (in the Uk), but after they said it they were talking about what may cause breast cancer in young people and what can be done to stop it, and were visiting research labs- so mabye now that a well known person has it poeple will give more money to research and help find a cure :)

She is due to start treatment today (18th May according to the news)

I might not make myself very popular by saying this but I think the British press have gone totally overboard on this Kylie story. Yes its very sad and of course I hope she makes a full recovery but thousands of "regular" people get this illness everyday.

All these people leaving messages for her like they are personal friends, im sorry but I just dont get it :?

If Kylie was a big idol of mine, fair enuff it may effect me in some way. But to me, I care no more about Kylie getting it than someone who works in a supermarket.

I have to agree with Carli, no offense and I hope she gets better but it does happen to lots of people and they never get publicity, nor would they want it probably. I hate seeing those people who act sad as if they personally knew them.

If anything good comes of this it will be that perhaps more women will become aware of it in the sense that they think if it can happen to a celebrity then it can happen to them.

One of our main papers had the first 9 pages devoted to her condition.

She's hot, and Australia loves her, but they went overboard.
