I just read on a u2 site that there is gunna be Live Aid 2 called Live 8 on July 2nd of this year. The headlining acts are gunna be U2, The Rolling Stones and Paul McCartney

Do you think Bon Jovi will play at the show?

I think that there will be a lot of people wanting to play, last I heard they were set to use 3 stadiums here in the UK and one in the US, so if they do hold 4 shows simultaneously I'm sure everyone who wants to play will be able to.

the uk venue will be hyde park. the stones haven't been confirmed yet; not sure if they've even been asked yet. the uk gig will be followed by a similar show in washington; presumably for the likes of bon jovi, aerosmith, eminem etc?

it seems pretty close to the bone for them to not have any bands sorted so i'd imagine it's just a matter of time before we get an official announcement but u2 are touring round about now plus most of the bands who are doing glasto and t in the park here will be in europe somewhere if the festivals are a tour stop so alot of bands on their line ups will probably do it.

oasis are about to start touring the UK too as are coldplay...

Well, as long as ticket prices are fairly reasonable, I can definately see me trying to get a ticket for a show like this. Top bands will perform and I am sure there would be a lot of surprises on the night. It would be fantastic to attend a show like this. Even if its just to say "I was there" hehe.
