bon jovi fan club question
Hi again to everyone at dry county! It has been a while since I've been on this site to write, but I definitely do my regular check-ins :) I have a question about joining bon jovi fan clubs. Are there really good ones to join that you would recommend? Has joining a fan club provided you with any perks (such as better seats at concerts...) I thought that this might be a good place to get some insight on the subject. Thanks!

That is the one run by Jon's mom, and people are able to get better seats, newsletters and what not. |
I don't know about any other fan clubs but the backstage with Jon Bon Jovi fan club has provided alot of fans with wristbans for better seating at concerts, supposedly Americanxs platinum from bon jovi.com has that same advantage.
I wouldn't know since I wouldn't spare the money to join neither of them, If I had a credit card I'd join americanxs platinum though, it seems to be better and cheaper than the fanclub. maybe someone who is a member can help you better. |
Thanks for the replies. I've been holding off on joining for a while because of money, but I want to join now. I'll look into those.

Better seats depend on where you live. Keep in mind they have that stupid rule to be at the venue for the CHANCE to buy a SINGLE fan club ticket. So if you live far from anywhere they play, being a fan club member isn't going to do you any good when it comes to ticket buying unless you can afford a trip for the show and a trip to possibly buy a ticket if they're not sold out by the time you get to the window.

Thanks - that is very helpful.

What Becky wrote is only for US-concerts. You don't write where you live so if you are in Europe it is way easier to get fanclub-wristbands since you buy a usual floor ticket at any ticket store and get your fanclub wristband the day of the concert at the venue.
Don't know how it works for Asia and Australia though. |
I live in Madison, WI. On Bon Jovi's tours, they usually come to Madison and Milwaukee which is great for me. But, if they didn't, I would travel a long way to see them. What you said makes sense to me because I have a friend from Scotland who loves Bon Jovi as much as I do and she is in a fanclub. I haven't asked her which one but I think she is in Backstage. She got front row for her friends and herself. I didn't think that was the way it worked here but I'm determined to get closer than I've been the last few concerts. :)
