Anyone own a carpet steamer?

Im looking to buy one but I'm a little clueless on what brand is the best. I usually pay to have them done but with a new dog the rugs get dirtier quick.

This is a Hoover Vacum message board right?

Thanks.

We've had several through the years and hated them all.

Get rid of your carpet and get hardwood floor or tile instead. We've done that in all but two bedrooms and it's great. The hard surfaces are much easier to keep clean. :) It helps with allergies too because carpet traps stuff underneath.

I think I have a Bissell, will have to check it out it was about $250 at Costco. I have a Bissel little green machine for little things and an upright steam cleaner. Love the upright one! Ok, it still is a pain in the ass, but hey, better than having to wait till the pros come out.

Do not get hardwoods in pet areas. Panzer will kill the hardwood, even if you keep her nails trimmed. If anything look at some imitation hardwood (which is supposedly the latest craze anyhow) as they are supposedly a lot more durable.
