Just venting

Bah!

My g/f just broke up with me after 7 months. She is going away for 5 months, working at a ski lodge over winter. It's not like it was a total surprise, I had considered whether a long distance relationship would work or whether it would be better breaking up, so its not like I'm innocent of what she was thinking.

It's just when it happens, you get the dull feeling in your stomach, and it is just made worse because I have an exam on Tuesday, so its not great timing.

Sorry guys just letting out some frustration. It feels good to wirte and articulate how you feel sometimes.

I'm really sorry to hear that :(

Why did you think a long distance relationship wouldn't work? Did she think so as well or she gave you other reasons? If you were okay up to then I don't see why you should break up because of that :?

I hope you'll feel better soon. Try keeping yourself busy or spend time with other people you are close to, that usually makes me forget about unhappy things for awhile. Don't think about it too much.

That sucks. If it makes you feel any better, I have a feeling that my b/f might break up with me soon, because I'm moving to Argentina and he's moving to India. But try to stay positive. Spend time with your friends/family and eat a lot of junk food :P

She didn't think the relationship would work because she is going with one of her best friends, who is also single (might not be important). And she said didn't want to feel like she would upset me if she was tempted to do something if she is going to be away from me for so long.

Looking at it from my point of view, it looks basically like an excuse to have no strings attached sex, and I could easily hate her for that reason. But she is the closest person I have gotten to, ever.

At the time of the break up I was ok, but the dull pain set in and I just couldn't concerntrate on anything. Not very good when I have my auditing exam tomorrow.

Thanks for listening, well at least reading, gotta get into the study this morning.

pain in the arse and it may very well be because she wants to go there and mount anything that rises but then again it's better than her doing it when you;re still attached and you're being a knight in shining armour knocking back maidens at all angles only to find out later.

much worse to think man all those chances I passed up than, sack it lets go and have some fun.

I try to let women drama worry me as little as possible, much better for the soul. remember, there's plenty more of them and "the one" was devised by warner brothers in the late 30s.

go out have some fun and don't dwell too much on it, what;'s done is done.

Sorry about that. Maybe you can throw your energy into studying for the exam and keep your mind off the breakup. Good luck.

Becky

Man you are right their.... If you meant a lot to her then she can wait for few month and resisting temptation won't be tooo hard IMO.....

Its sucks to be all alone but its sucks more when u finally think u found someone who u can connect and then one fine day bang... everything gone.....

I hope u do well in exam , i know thats very important to u...
