Last book you read

Okay, since we have 'last movie you have seen' and 'last CD you bought' threads, and threads about what everyone is reading at the moment keep cropping up I thought it would be a nice idea to have this thread :) Hopefully it will help us all discover new great books too! :D

So, as I said in Jim's thread the last book I read was Private Papers by Margaret Forster, which I loved :)

Sambo-Chris 06-10-2005 09:56 PM

The last one I read was The da Vinci Code and Illuminati.

Thomas Anderson 06-10-2005 09:58 PM

Well this is copied from Jim's thread:

I just finished Thomas Friedman's "The World is Flat". I would recommend it to anyone who has an open mind and a willingness to look at the status of globalization - excellent book.

I am currently reading The Book of Illusions: A Novel by Paul Auster.

Did you like Illuminati Chris? I was about to get it a few weeks ago.

As I posted in Jim's thread, I finished reading Pride and Prejudice.

August Derleth, The Mask of Cthulhu.
Opinion is generally against August Derleth, but I enjoy a lot of his
stories. 'The Lurker at the Threshold' is one of the best Mythos stories.

I've just started reading the eagle has landed.

it's pretty cool. Hasn't grabbed me as much as angels and demons but the subject matter is pretty interesting. A crack German hit squad like the SAS are sent to kidnap Churchill in 1943. Apparently its half based on a true story.

I just finaly finished Star by Pam
i've just started to read My life among serial killers by Helen Morrison MD
