I read somewhere on the board that someone didn't think Olaf heine(photographer) was any good... Well based on many photos in the crush booklet it easy to come to that conclusion... Well I went to his website and looked at some of his work and he is amazing! he is really good so if we're lucky It can be some really good shots for this album! I just wanted to give you this link so you can se for yourself that he is really good!

What's wrong with the CRUSH photoshoot? At least it didn't have the band looking at circus performers through a window, or Jon wearing a freaking crown of thorns (Still the single stupidest pictureof the man)

Well a lot of the photos in the crush booklet looks really bad... some of them looks great but all the little ones everywhre looks kind of silly... compare it to the photos in the keep the faith and these days booklet and you will se what I mean... But now when I se what this guy really can do I believe it can be very good pictures for the new album...

I would fault the layout of the crush booklet more than the photos. I agree, KTF Looks the best out of all of them, and New jersey is the worst: "Okay guys, we're gonna do ONE picture for this album, so Jon- put on your New Jersey trenchcoat and let's go underneath that dock!"

I just feel that a lot of the crush photos felt kind of like they didnt have a soul.. If you know what I mean... the keep the faith photos had something special that gave life to the pictures... and I didnt se that in a lot of the crush photos... but now when I have seen some of the other work the guy has done I feel that he can do amazing things with the camera....

The Crush photos were too stylised, although I think I'm also one who's not a huge fan of the layout. Or the obscene amount of white used in the booklet. Or the suits, what's the deal with them?

I dunno man I thought they looked sauve as **** in the crush photos. I'd rather have a guy dress me up in a well cut suit for band photos than say "hey here's an original idea lets put you in some jeans and stick on these ray-bans"

I think the Crush album cover/photos almost sum up the album itself:
soft, simplistic, watery and not very good! :?

The same for KTF: grittier, darker and one of the best! :lol:

Olaf Heine is one of the greatest photographers out there.
But I'd like him to portarit the band more "rock" if I can say so than Heidi Klum.

I hate Bruce Springsteen...he's a genius...I shouldn't have bought Dust And Devils...it makes me.........
