My Grandad died

OK, most of you probably don't want to listen to me going on and on and generally complaining but I'm so upset and ****ed up that I just want to tell someone!
My Grandad died this morning. He's been in a care home for the past 2 years with Alzhiemers disease, and last night he was really sick. This morning when he woke up he was sick and didn't look well so the nurse went out of the room to phone the doctor, and when the nurse came back, Grandad was dead =(
I've spent the whole day just moping about and crying. My eyes are red and puffy and blooshot, and my mum and gradma haven't really taken it in yet. I can't believe that I'm never going to see him again, and that I didn't get the chance to say goodbye properly. It's also 2 years and 3 days since my other grandpa died, so I'm also a little bit freaked out by that. I just feel so upset and ****ed up.

I'm terribly sorry to hear this :( Just get it all out, though. Keeping things inside makes it all so much worse.

I'm sorry to hear this. Both of my grandmother's had Alzheimer's... it's a horrible disease.

My grandma got the disease and was in a care home for 18 months before she died. It was really disturbing to see how it gradually took away her mind and dignity...I know what you're going through. Sorry for your loss.

Losing someone is difficult at any time but as Becky said Alzheimer's is a horrible disease. You and your family will grieve but you wouldn't want him to live with that for too long.

I'm sorry for your loss, there isn't really anything I can say to make you feel better because I know you won't, but just rest assured that he's a lot better now with no suffering or strugling, just finally resting.

You have my condolences. May he rest in peace.

Adrian
