Jovitalk - Bon Jovi Fan Community - Junior Club REPEAT Champion!

I did it!!!! With my lowest score in my competitive career of 3 under par... My score on day one was an outstanding 2 under par 69. I played my best round ever. It was amazing... The only trouble was that I had a one stroke lead over my friend Forrest. Coming into today I was loose, nervous, and scared that I was going to get my name and picture taken off the wall of champions. It was neck and neck the whole way through and then when we got to 16 the drama began... I knock a wedge shot to a few inches and I know I'm going to make birdie. My competitor had a 15 footer that barely missed. At that point we were all square with 2 holes to go. As scared and nervous as I was... My college coach was here to watch me so I had that on top of the pressure. Walking about to the 17th green, I was on the backside with a 40 foot putt that I had no clue what it was going to do. My friend hit it left into the sand trap so I figured I was going to take the lead. Come to watch, he knocks a 15 yard bunker shot right in the center... I was shocked and dissapointed because I knew I was probably going to lose the tournament. So he's over there in disbelief and I'm standing over this 40 footer. With my parents and friends rooting me on. I drain this 40 footer and I jumped and gave a good scream. I was in disbelief. So we strolled to 18 where we had this last hole to prove the champion. I hit my drive right down the center and he does the same. We stand over our second shots wondering whose going to choke. He mishits the shot and ends up about 40 feet away from the hole. Then I knew I was going to knock it close. I run it up there to about 15 feet. I was nervouse, scared, and shaking. My bloodpressure was rolling. LOL... So anyways, my competitor knocks it close and makes a safe par leaving the stage for me.... 15 feet till victory... I hit my putt and I thought I was going to leave it short... It sat on the lip and fell in and I jumped and gave a good.. "YEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and with everyone watching... I was in a state of shock... I'm still in that shock and I'm mentally drained because it was a dog fight the whole day. With this being my last year of this, I go out on top. 2004 and 2005 Junior Club Champion...
