Those of you that will be getting the American edition can see the backcover here:

Bloomsbury doesn't seem to have released their backcover though :(

Yes, I'm excited! I've even dreamed about it the last two nights. LOL I pre-ordered from Amazon, but I'm so afraid my local PO won't deliver on next Saturday like they're supposed to. If that happens, I'll go buy a copy. What sucks for me is that I have to go back to work on the 18th. My so-called "summer vacation" is almost over. I'll probably spend Saturday and Sunday reading (depending on how big it is).

Haha - Becky, I didn't order it from Amazon because I was scared I'd have to wait for it. Plu,s there's some kind of magic in going to the shop and picking it up for the first time :)

I won't be reading it as soon as I get it - my boyfriend is coming next weekend, so that means that until Monday night or Tuesday morning (I work too) I won't be reading it for real. I can't complain. I'll have it already and it will make it last longer :P

I think my friends and family will know the rules: don't talk to me; don't look at me; don't call me.... LOL

Adults are this excited over Harry Potter?

j/k I know lots of stores here are eagerly anticipating selling off a few trillion copies, and a lot of those copies are going to adults. I've just always thought of Harry Potter as a kids/young adults book.

Enjoy your reading!

You wouldn't see them that way if you read them. ;) And I admit I'm really excited and a little nervous too. There are certain things I WANT to happen, some I definitely don't want to happen, and some I'm afraid will happen.

It's not so childish as you may think, and children's literature is underrated anyway.

I really don't think you need to sort of say that "ashamedly". I think us adults are way too cool about certain things sometimes, and a little (or a lot) of excitement over something is really positive. Some adults seem to be dead inside :?
