Someone was kind enough to send these to me, so I'm sharing the info here:

***All of these CDs were released prior to Soundscan (1991), so these numbers do no reflect total sales. If the numbers could be found for it, Stranger is the first CD that would have true Soundscan numbers.

so crush has sold more in 5 years than keep the faith did in 13 years... suprising

Not really because Crush made a whole new generation of fans, who will have bought the album as well as the existing fans from the 80s and 90s.

well looking at the numbers, T.D. got the attention it deserved :twisted:

It certainly did, outside America. What was it, 9 million copies sold, less then a million of them in the states.

Richie said 10 million on a local radio station in 2000. He could have been inflating the numbers, but that's what he said. Actually, he said that everything they had released since 1986 had sold at least 10 million copies.
