Is there going to be the gold standing area on the new tour cause i have just joined the XS Platium american also i have just joined the backstage jbj but how do you get tickets through backstage jbj. Cause i heard that the members go into the stadiums 15 mins earlier than other fans so how does it work. Do you just buy normal tickets then show your backstage jbj card or something at the entrance . help me out im lost with all these deals

This Golden Standing area was only created in the UK and I really hope that they don't do this Europeanwide. But a few bands already make this in other countries too (Stones for example) so it could be that BJ start to make this at the next tour either.

Until now it was this way in Europe exept of UK: You buy an ordinary field ticket and get a wristband with showing your membership card and ID at the day of the concert in front of the stadium that allows you to enter the double barricaded area in front of the stage. Beside this we had an earlier entrance than the generel audience.

In the UK you had to buy a Golden Standing ticket, which is more expensive than a field ticket, and got earlier entrance.

AXP just sells tickets earlier than the generell sale and offers tickets of all price categories.

I kind of hope they go with the gold standing in the Uk (and Ireland this time). It basically dose away with the need to join the fan club. The gold standing tickets cost 5 pounds more and you got the same privilages, plus the fact that you can go in there with somebody else. Once you join AXP your also garaunteed getting one of those tickets.

I'd certainly rather pay a fiver more for a ticket then $40 to join the fan club, again.

If you make multiple concerts the fanclub is cheaper than Gold tickets. At least when I see what the Stones took extra for the front-of-stage-tix here in Germany. That's why I'd prefer the way it is now.

You'd have to be going to 9 or more shows to start saving money. Not many people doing that, I reckon.

I don#t know how you count but 5 Pounds are nearly 9 Dollars so you already safe with the 5th concert. And there are loads of people who travel around all over Europe. Making 5 concerts is not that unusual.

No because people with fan club AND GS tickets got in first so it didstill pay to have fanclub. GS was an absolute disgrace, bigger more popular acts have toured since then and not used this system, it was just a way to bleed more money out of people.

The didn't do the GS in Ireland so I'm not really well versed on how it worked but I assumed if you bought GS (which I think were just a fiver more) you got into the pit area, I didn't know about the early access thing. Did that mean that even if you were a FC member, you had to have GS to get in the pit early? :?

I probably will end up joining the FC again but the only thing that peeves me is that you can't bring anybody in with you  .

Yup and it caused a farce cos some FC members didnt bother buying GS not realising you needed it to get in the pit. I was at Dublin 03 l and out of all the UK shows it was the easiest and most laid back. If they use GS next tour il think about just going to shows in Europe and just do one in the UK.
