Eight Music Channels
 

all of which play crap.

Out of the 8 video channels, 2 are country :? (bad country), 1 is spanish, 1 is soul, 1 is 80s pop (peter cetera) and I kind of like to watch merely to get a kick out of the attire hahaha, 2 are hip hop (which I hate because it reminds me that I really need to hit the gym again :( ) and 1 switches between music and hip hop/R&B (simple plan followed by destiny's child).

And what do you do while cleaning the house?

MTV which seems to play no music at all now
MTV2 which plays modern rock
MTV Base which is a hip-hop one I think
MTV Dance which is dance, duh
VH1 which has pretty much everything
VH2 which has modern rock
VH1 Classic which has classic rock
TMF which has mostly pop
The Box which has mostly pop
Kiss which has mostly R&B
Smash Hits which has mostly pop
Magic which has mostly 80s stuff and movie songs
Q which has a good mix of everything
Kerrang which has mostly hard rock
The Hits which has mostly pop
Classic FM which has classical music, duh

There's a few more too that I can't remember. Personally I only ever watch VH1 and VH1 Classic.

We get the absolute minimum of channels...13 or 14 I believe, and one channel that's not the same thing from week to week. Right now it's the video game channel, last week it was nothing but professional tennis.

The public announcement channel plays music videos every Friday, but they're usually from either small, bad, local bands, or small, bad, national bands. I have seen Meat Loaf on there occasionally, as well as Lifehouse and Chevelle, so they play SOME good stuff occasionally.

Another get is the Soundtrack channel, which is good sometimes for just tracks from films aswell as interviews, but a lot of the day they have teleshopping.

I hardly watch tv anymore, I used to watch lots of films (about 15-20 film channels I think) but I don't bother now since they don't show any I don't already have on DVD.

I wish I'd get Kerrang :(


well at least the old pop thing is switching to 80s rock in a couple of minutes :lol: they closed out with Duran Duran 'Wild Boys' --- that was one elaborate video - they don't do that stuff anymore.


ahhhhhhhhhhh - Kajagoogoo is on - I swear I haven't seen/heard/or thought of them in at least 20 years :) :)

Er, put a CD in my CD player. Duh. For house cleaning, I strongly recommend System Of A Down.

which one? I only have Toxicity and I don't like it :P

Toxicity is perfect for house cleaning! But Mesmerize is a better album.

On TMF it's always Mariah Carey's new single. Everytime I switch to that channel she's waving her legs or bending over so her tits nearly fall out of her skirt.

On MTV they play no music during the day. At night they sometimes broadcast concerts though.

regular mtv or vh1 doesn't play music here either. It's MTVS or MTVJ or MTV2 or MTVH, etc. Same as VH1 - it has all these sister channels that play videos only.
