Do you write?
 

So I was wondering, are there any people around - apart from Supersonic - who write stuff themselves? Might be lyrics, might be whatever (though lyrics would be cool).

yes, I write songs.

I write stories and poems and wrote lyrics in high school. I've tried writing music, but I'm not good enough at it to claim to do it. LOL

I dabble in writing lyrics, less now that I'm working and attending school. I'm also part of the band DC which is based out of the Other Bands forum.

I plan on writing a novel within the next few years. I've got the plot and everything hashed out already, I just need the time and inclination to start putting it down on, er, hard drive.

That reminds me, in my teenage years I wrote 'romance' stories (can't say novels, cause I didn't have the patience to draw the stories out that long) --- don't know what happened to them lol.

^^^Cool. Writing in any form is always good. Gets the mind working.

I've estimated how long this novel is going to have to be, and I'm guessing it'll be clocking in at around 7-800 pages. Either that or it's going to have to be in two or three parts.

I write silly poems mostly, some short stories and some crap attempts at lyric writing.

I write a lot of the lyrics in my band. Other than that I used to "try" to write short stories and stuff in school.
