Jovitalk - Bon Jovi Fan Community - Another funny DJ request

So I tried it (requesting HAND) again and failed, but it was supremely funny this time.

Can you play Bon Jovi's new single HAND

"where are you calling from"

In town

"Where are you headed"

Karaoke

"Whatcha gonna sing?"

Bon Jovi! (making an utter arse of myself and screaming)

"Really?"

You're damn right

"Why don't you sing some right now"

What do you want me to sing?

"Do It's My..wait, no no, what's that other one they do? Umm, oh yeah, living on a prayer"

I proceed to sing the chorus in what I think is the right key and it sounds really good to me in my car while I'm driving

"Thanks buddy gotta go!"

So, immediatly after this he proceeds to play the entire thing on the air...minus, of course, my request.

And then, after every song, and during every song, he keeps playing me doing the chorus. But, let me tell you, even as bad as I sing, it only made Gwen Stefani sound better.

So 30 minutes later, he plays some girl who called in and said "Don't play that crappy singer again, put on someone who can sing!"

So then he puts on Bon Jovi doing LOAP, the whole song...except at the chorus he uses my voice instead. This is when I find out I was singing it a half-tone low. It was amazing. HA And then on at the last chorus with the high E he puts on Jon with me singing. Oh man, it was oh so marvelous.

So I call him back and tell him that I have to things to say to him, that he's a dick, and thanks for playing some Bon Jovi, even though it wasn't my song. And then I eloquently called the girl a bitch. He played that whole thing too. It was all quite good.

Anyway, still haven't heard the song on the radio. Now I remember why I don't listen. heh heh heh
