Well that is true mate, however you can't say they havent done extremely well this season. Last season was Evertons season. This season is Wigans season. There is a surprise package every year! (Including Spurs)...sorry mate :p

UKjovi 01-26-2006 11:29 AM

Yeah true, maybe next year we will do better

UKjovi 01-26-2006 11:52 AM

The way they are playing i wouldnt be surprized, but then Arsenal always doi that and pull the rabbit out of the hat :D

Kev 01-26-2006 11:56 AM

Well we have got one MIGHTY task this weekend. I dont fancy our chances, but then again, I didnt last wekeend either! ;) :D

Neurotica80 01-26-2006 12:24 PM

I hope Wigan can do it against Scum next month.

In hindsight im not that bathered Leeds got knocked out of the cup now, we have a 10 day break and then we can have have a real push for promotion. I think Everton have got a good chance against Chelsea, I cant see them being that bothered cos theyre going for the CL this season.

Cup runs are always nice, but I think most people will always say that the league is their priority. For the smaller sides though, its good to get a good run going, and to take their cup form into the league. Chelsea will probably rest some of their bigger stars on Saturday, but you cant say that they have a 'weak' side. If we can defend like we did against Arsenal and maybe catch Chelsea on the counter-attack, then we might just, stand a glimmer of a chance! If Everton go all the way, then Im going to wembley 'Thrice' and you will going to Amsterdam on your own! :p

You be quiet! :p :D Shhhhhh!

I just hate going to watch the blues, play half the time, coz were so unpredictable. I'd go feckin nuts again if I forked out £30 a ticket and we were to lose against Blackburn or someone!

UKjovi 01-28-2006 11:46 AM

Did anyone else see Man U celebrate the league cup like theyd won the Champions league???!!! Hahaha a few years ago they wouldnt even play in the FA cup never mind this. I wouldnt mind seeing Leeds at the play offs at Cardiff though, a fantasic venue they seem to put on a really good show.

Too right! Can't believe we're into 5th. I expected to finish around mid table this season, and now me might have an outside chance of Champions league qualification. It's maybe going a little far that though as Bolton have two games in hand and West Ham one. If we beat Spurs this weekend though, who knows? :D

Certainly did. They'll be the best side in Europe again now they've won the piss pot cup. :p They'll all be talking about how the blip is over and how they are on their way back.

I dunno, you're gonna have to go some if you're to get automatic qualification. You could win the Playoffs though.

Another win for us this weekend. Problem is everyone else around us won as well. Craig Bellamy is just fantastic. Maybe be one or two clubs sniffing round him and Morten Pedersen this summer. I hope they don't leave.
