Hum....the verb "to be" has 2 meanings in portuguese.... "ser" and "estar" now you should really use "Eu estou entediado" instead of "Eu sou entediado"

Well generally I would, but the idea is that it's more like who I am than what I am, since I'm generally bored constantly :P

Yeah I see now, the fact is that it sounds a little strange for my brazilian portuguese way......sounds to much like a Portugal language.....if you understand what I mean :)

Thomas Anderson 08-28-2005 08:04 PM

Well that makes sense since I am learning from a European Portuguese person lol

I know generally it would be estou, like how I am feeling right now, and sou is generally a permanent state, like I am me, but I mean it more like I am bored as in it's what I always am, not what I'm currently feeling

Espero aprender mais, atualmente uso um tradutor :)

Translators suck though. I only know a few words for now but when I use the translator I try to fix what the translator messes up in terms of the grammar, but it doesn't always work
