Who Says You Can't Come To Ireland?

Hi,
Does anybody know when/if Bon Jovi are coming to Ireland for the Have A Nice Day Tour??? Where do you think they will play??? They better not come while I'm doing my Leaving Cert or I'll be seriously pissed off!!!
Anway this is my first post, just joined today so hi. I'll give you a little info about myself: Bon Jovi are my fav band and I have every album. My fav is These Days and my fav song is These Days! Its such a class album! I'm really enjoying Have A Nice Day! It kicks some serious ass! But still not as good as These Days or Keep The Faith. I didn't think Crush or Bounce were great but they had some class songs for example The Distance. I really like Richie Sambora's solo work. Does anybody know if he's realising another album??? I hope he does, best damn guitar player on the planet! Aside from Bon Jovi I also love REM, I think they're brill! I also like Bruce Springsteen, Green Day(my guilty pleasure!) and Josh Ritter(a little known singer-songwriter from Canada, he's like a cross between Bob Dylan and Leonard Coen. He's big in Ireland and I highly recommend him!).
So there you have it, please reply!

:) Welcome to the boards
No-one knows if they are coming to Ireland yet as only UK & Holland dates have been announced. It has been rumored that they will play croker though which would be great!
The last UK date is June 11th & they always come here before they go to the UK so you will be ok with the Leaving Cert...although it will be pretty close!

yes! ...welcome to the boards gibson....like shin says...they never miss ireland when on tour so im holding out for croker too, though i'll start to get really worried if they dont annonuce a date real soon.

Jonny Sambora 09-26-2005 12:53 PM

Welcome! May 20th has been thrown about as a date that they are playing....we should hear soon!

Irishshin 09-26-2005 12:55 PM

Yeah I hope we do

I'm getting kinda impatient here :D

Irishshin 09-26-2005 12:56 PM

Actually was just thinking....maybe Ireland..as in May 20th could be the first date of the European tour....to me it seems kinda silly for them to do a concert in mainland Europe...then fly to Ireland...fly back to mainland Europe and then fly back to the UK.

I dunno...I hate guessing

Are they not playing Austria on the 15th? I remember reading that somewhere. It does seem strange though as they usually play the UK the same time as here. Looking at the UK dates it doesnt look like they will, unless they play b4 glasgow.

Irishshin 09-26-2005 01:32 PM

lol they will be over and back like yo-yo's :D

Jonny Sambora 09-26-2005 07:15 PM

They will! I have a feeling the tickets mite go on sale on friday....all the UK tickets are going on sale then, so they might just announce the Dublin date then (kinda like they just started selling the Gold tickets last week without telling anyone!)

I cant see them having a gold circle though, although Croker is that big they'll prob have a separate entrance for the fan club.

Irishshin 09-26-2005 07:35 PM

Yeah they had a seperate entrance in Lansdowne last time so they should do at croker.
I hope there is no gold circle its causing waaayyy too much trouble with the UK shows.

I hope your feeling is a good one :D
