Rolling Stone Gives three stars to a BJ record??
Ok there must be a rip in the Universe today or somrthing because it has been some years since RS had anything good to say about Bon Jovi.
Here is the review: Jersey arena icons still know how to do an anthem. The girls who grooved to SWW back in 1986 have gotten married and bought SUV's But BJ have kept their arena anthems simple and sweaty- so much so that hating the Jersey quartet seems silly at this point. HAND, their ninth studio album is as reliable as it is contained: Acoustic ballads such as BOF are vaguely icky, but powerhouse anthems like "I wanna be loved" pack almost as much sing-along potential as LOAP did back in the day. The band even works up some roots rock on "who says you can't go home". On the lighter-waver "Welcome to wherever you are", JBJ pliosophizes like Forrest Gump in leather pants " maybe we are all different but we are still the same". Well said, lad. Rating 3 of 5 stars. key track: I wanna be loved. |

I actually agree with Rolling Stone. The more I listen to it, the more I agree - Key track is I Want To Be Loved. Let's just hope Island/Def Jam agrees. |
I think the singles are already set and doubt the band or the label will be changing anything up, the good thing may be that we get alot of this one live if it seems that people really like it.

I thought that "icky" was a word that only 6 year old girls use when they make mud pies.
Not a bad review from RS though. Kathleen |

"I wanna be loved" is definitely the key-track. It's not repetitive (the other tracks are just a touch repetitive) and it kind of matches what people (other than BJ fans) like today.
