Ticketmaster Sucks
 

I will be attending the Bon Jovi concert at the Schottenstein Arena in Columbus Ohio. I thought I was lucky to be in on the "presale" which began two days before tix went on sale to the general public. Boy was I wrong. As I sat there trying to get great seats (I was there when the "presale" began at 9:00 a.m), I ended up with floor seats, but in the very back. However, I was willing to deal with this until I saw a link on Ticketmaster where they are "auctioning" tickets for 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9th rows! Tix were $87.50 but the minimum bid is $100.00 per ticket for this auction. Does no one else think this is WRONG? How is the little guy supposed to get good seats. Even at the $87.50 price, after I purchased 3 tix and paid all of Ticketmaster's fees, it cost me $315.00. TICKETMASTER SUCKS!!!!!!!!

That sucks, but at least you got floor seats. I had the pre sale info and still could only get 100's for the show at Schottenstein. I'm not paying $100.00 a ticket(Which was how much they are for section 100) for anything but floor seats. So now I have to watch ebay until I can find some.

Well, Jeb 865, the 9th row floor seats at the Ticketmaster auction are still up for grabs. Minimum of $100.00. I'm sure Ticketmaster would be more than happy to take your money.

The problem with Ticketmaster is pretty much that they are the only game in town so.... The auction thing is something they say they are trying to keep the front rows of seats for fans and not ticket scalpers. It's a reality of life if you want the first ten rows for almost any big time show you are going to pay for them.

Pre- sales are always a crossection of tickets, they aren't going to release all the good seats 2 days early, they'd have nothing to show off come general sale time.

There's a newsflash. We all hate Ticketmaster! Or, most of us do, anyway.

Ticketmaster are average. They get me tickets. Therefore I can't complain
