I read one interview from the Crush tour 2000. Jon told that he had been offered a part in some film of Gene Hackman. But because of the tour he couldn´t take it and was sad about it. Any idea what film? Heartbreakers or what? And also 2nd question: What happened to film Vampires Los Muertos?

The movie Los muertos comes out on DVD in the USA I think in September. I read somewhere that you already can pre-order it at some stores like amazon.

:D i am not sure myself but i am glad u shed some light on the question and told us all thanks.i didnt know that at all!!! but i can say is jon is a very excellent actor and singer and with richie by his side they have accomplished alot and well continue too write great songs i love jon and the band BONJOVI they rule in 2003.

I'm glad Jon prefers to go on tour, even if i love to see him in movies.

The first 20mins took some adjusting to forget JBJ was the big rock star then I got into the film and really liked it, apart from the yellow shirt someone made him wear YUK! He plays a male version of Buffy.

I didnt like it Goose just because Jon was in it, in fact I was quite critical when I was watching it especially the first 20mins. My daughter kept telling me to stop criticising Jon.

My daughter watched it and she enjoyed it as others I know and they were not JBJ fans . The film was in the top 20 rented films in the UK for quite a while, so people did enjoy it. Im sorry you didnt.

I think BJ fans are more critical of JBJ films than non BJ fans.

LOL I love this thread .. and I agree with Dawn (LOL my daughters say the same to me ) .... JBJ fans are very critics with Jon 's movies and if we say it's good Mongoose you should believe us .... that's not because jon was in it ... OK that's because Jon was in it that I bought the
dvd and saw the movie on tape from an usa friend less than a week after it was on tv over there ;) )but if I say it's good that not because he is in ti anymore .... I love movies ...I can judge don't be so suspicious about what a fan can think or cannot ... If you think that a jbj fan is not able to think right about a jbj movie why you a non jbj movie fan could be .... :mrgreen:
I thought that Los muertos is a good movie and I immediatly forget that it was JBj in it ... (honest!!...)
maybe if you didn't like it it was because you were too busy to think it was not good because JBJ was in .... ;) This wasn't a bad movie and Jon performance was very good ....
I also agree with Jess I love to see Jon in movies but I DO prefer him in his best role :ON STAGE ;)
I am waiting for some more interesting movies for Jon tho.....

Jon has stated on many occasions that he prefers the band, but has admitted it is "just a job now"... paraphrasing now 'waking up, soundcheck, show, hotel... sand that he loves acting etc cos it's new to him and exciting...

don't be surprised if he wants to do anything else - i hate to say it though but i don't think his voice is strong enough anymore to do broadway - sebastian bach is currently doing it and his voice is bloody amazin at the moment...
