Bon Jovi Ask Rolling Stones To Open Wembley

Jon Bon and co. are notoriously the first band to have the prestigious honour of headlining the newly renovated stadium - much to the dismay of many big acts.

Speaking to Virgin Radio, Jon humorously gave The Stones a chance to open the stadium.

He said: “Well it’s booked, but if they (The Rolling Stones) really want to open the venue, they can go on before us. I think that’s a great idea.”

Stones fans are alot like U2 fans - They don't think any other band should have the right to exist.

There was one comment in there about Bon Jovi's music sucking since whenever the hell it was. Apparently, they haven't listened to any of the new Rolling Stones music for the past 20 years.

I would never try and compare Bon Jovi to the Stones, but you know - If they so chose, they will be around just as long. It's been 21 years now, and they get more promotion than the Stones do. People at least have an interest in new Bon Jovi music. Not even Stones fans care about new Stones music.

The Stones fans should lighten up a bit. Jon has admitted many times to being a Stones fan and when they opened for the Stones he even said that he'd have been more than glad to only carry Mick Jagger's suitcase!

Well, if it happens at least they have a chance of selling out the stadium.

they´ve already sold out 80% of the new wembley without any help of the stones.
